Daybreak Health (www.daybreakhealth.com) is building the leading digital mental health system for youth. Our mission is to create a world where every young person benefits from mental health support.

Our mental health system removes all barriers to effective care for young people: we create easy access through our school and pediatrician partners, deliver effective care through evidence-based online therapy that is integrated with technology, and bring consumer cost to zero through our funding partnerships with government agencies and health insurance. Over the next 5 years we plan to serve more than 25 million youth who need mental health support.

We’re a YC-backed company that raised its Seed from Maven Ventures and just raised our Series A from a Top 10 VC (announcement coming soon). We’re a rocketship, with our revenue more than tripling between July and November of 2021 in California, and more acceleration in sight. We’re hiring for critical roles now to have an even bigger 2022 and expand nationally.

The Role

You’ll be the first dedicated Product person to join Daybreak and report directly to our CEO, who cares deeply about product and has led product thinking so far. You will lead direction for our technology product collaborating with our CEO, including our web and mobile apps for: youth, parents, schools, and Daybreak clinicians. You will gather feedback from our customers and work closely with internal teams (engineering, design, clinical and customer teams) to translate that into product strategy, roadmap, and requirements.

Your first few projects will include:

  1. Defining a “Smart EHR” that Daybreak Clinicians will use to interact with their patients
  2. Defining a “School Reporting Dashboard” that makes it easier for our school partners to make referrals and track their students’ progress

Beyond these initial projects you will work directly with the CEO to prioritize future projects, develop our roadmap and deliver with our engineering team. As the leader of Product within the organization, you will be looked to by all internal stakeholders for product vision and direction.

Responsibilities

  • Define and track product success metrics
  • Gather customer feedback (both external and internal customers)
  • Translate feedback into priorities and a roadmap
  • Define product roadmaps that meet the needs of various business stakeholders
  • Write and refine product requirements working with engineering, design, clinical, customer and other internal teams

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience in digital health, especially is a business with healthcare clinics/providers, nice to have
  • Experience working at an early stage startup (Seed to Series B) preferred
  • Track record of defining and delivering products that drive towards key metrics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Passion for the voice of the customer

Compensation:

Daybreak’s compensation is a mix of cash and equity. As a high-growth company on a mission, we value employees who are fully bought in and want to be owners in the company. As such our cash compensation is average market, and our equity compensation is above market.

There will be a range for this role depending on experience, but the ranges will be benchmarked to a Senior PM level
