Daybreak Health is on a mission to reverse the youth mental health epidemic by building the first comprehensive digital mental health system for youth. Up to 1 in 3 youth struggle with mental health, and 80% of those who need it don't receive care.

Daybreak's digital mental health system is designed to help millions of adolescents access effective mental health care in close partnership with schools. Our digital platform gives teens access to amazing, youth-focused therapists through video sessions and our mobile app. We are serving patients in California, and partnered closely with some of the biggest school districts across the state. We have raised our Seed Round from Maven Ventures (early investors in Zoom) and are expanding rapidly.

About the role

Daybreak is entering an exciting period of growth. We are looking for our first Clinical Recruiter Lead who can lead the charge to make Daybreak the leading employer for therapists passionate about working with youth. You will lead the full-cycle recruiting process - source, screen, schedule and close exceptional talent - while always ensuring a phenomenal candidate and team experience. Your #1 priority will be building our care team of therapists, nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists across the country.

This job will be both hands-on and strategic- you will be sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding therapists while driving data analytics projects to help improve recruitment operations process and to expand recruitment channels.

You will be personally making an impact on a daily basis by bringing top notch clinicians to our network to help more youth access quality and effective mental health treatment.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Recruit Mental Health Professionals to join the Daybreak provider network
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process from resume review to hiring
  • Partner with our Clinical Director, Medical Director and CEO to co-create hiring plans, align on candidate profiles and run efficient recruitment processes.
  • Hiring Goals Planning on a monthly basis based on projected demand
  • Expand recruitment channel efficiently within budget
  • Identify key areas of improvement for the full recruiting cycle and implement solutions to drive process optimization
  • Ensure a delightful candidate experience: Always keep an eye on creating a uniquely special experience for our candidates.
  • Build our talent acquisition function for scale: Lead strategic initiatives like building our employer brand, designing our interview processes and configuring our recruiting systems.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of clinician recruiting experience, with a focus in high volume recruiting operations in high growth environments
  • Excellent people skills
  • Experiences with identifying challenges in an operational process and independently crafting and implementing solutions
  • Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed
  • Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience partnering with leadership on recruiting strategy and hiring initiatives
  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and translating those into process improvement recommendations

Preferred:

  • Experience with a CRM is not required, but a plus
  • Experience with Breezy ATS
  • Digital health experience
